Dynamic vs Static Page

At the moment blog / wiki that start bursting out … I am not qutie aware why static page is that important. At first, I was wonder if this would make people remember the links easier. But, you and I know that nowaday, no one remembers the website, but a brandname instead … so why static page ?

Okay, I got it now .. it is for search engine optimisation. With the increasing dependency on search engine, nothing would grow that fast without indexing !!!
